AptlyScale is a browser-based utility designed to assist clinical professionals in Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) calculations. The service is provided as a "static" tool; we do not provide data hosting, patient management, or cloud storage.
2. User Responsibilities
As a user of AptlyScale, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Data Stewardship: You are the sole custodian of any data entered into the application. Once a PDF is exported, the security of that document (and the embedded QR code) is your responsibility.
- Clinical Judgment: AptlyScale is a calculation aid. It does not replace professional clinical judgment or provide medical advice.
- Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your use of this tool aligns with your organization's HIPAA, GDPR, or local privacy requirements.
3. No Warranty (AS-IS)
AptlyScale is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we strive for 100% mathematical accuracy in T-score calculations, the developer is not liable for any errors, data loss (due to browser cache clearing), or clinical decisions made based on tool output.
4. Limitations of Liability
In no event shall the developer of AptlyScale be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to the loss of clinical data or patient records.
5. Intellectual Property
The AptlyScale name, logo, and source code are the intellectual property of the developer. You may use the tool for professional clinical purposes, but you may not redistribute or "white-label" the application without explicit permission.
